Earlston Tennis Club tennis in the heart of the Scottish Borders
Earlston Tennis Club has by-laws which it expects its members and all visitors to adhere to. This is to preserve and look after the club and its facilities to make them the best possible facility for you all to use.
1 - Smoking is not allowed on the courts.
2 - Appropriate tennis shoes only to be worn on court, multi- stud football trainers or running spike shoes are not allowed.
3 - If members are waiting to play, those members on court should come off at the end of their set(s).
4 - Monday - Fridays: junior members have priority on courts between 4-6pm and then adults.
5 - Members will report any misuse of the courts/facilities to a committee member without delay or email email@example.com
6 - Any balls knocked over the fences must be retrieved unless the balls have entered a neighbour's garden or Roger's Yard.
7 - There is no set adult or junior visitor fee however if using our courts, a donation to the club via another member is appreciated.
8 - Anyone infringing the tennis by-laws may be excluded from membership after investigation and approval by the committee.
9 - Dogs and bikes are not allowed onto the courts.
10 - Any junior member under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or older member.
11 - If a membership is cancelled during the year no refund will be given.
NB. These tennis by-laws are subordinate to the ETC Constitution, a copy of which can be supplied on request.
7.00-9.00pm - Adult Tennis Coaching/Club Night
9.30-11.00am - Novice Coach Led Sessions
6.00-10.00pm - Ladies Match Night (courts used for home matches)
6.00-10.00pm - Mens Match Night (courts used for home matches)
1.00-2.30pm - Novice Coach Led Sessions
4.00-6.00pm - Under 12-Under 18 Boys Coaching
2.00-8.00pm - Mixed Groups of Improvers
6.00-10.00pm - Junior Matches (Courts used for home matches)
9.00am - 3.00pm - Girls U10 - U16 Coaching
6.00-10.00pm - U14 Junior Matches (courts used for home matches)
